It is best if the procedure is no more than 48 hours old. You may have some success up to 72 hours old but up to 48 hours will bring the best lifting results.

Emergency Removal is performed using Li-FT®. More details about Li-FT® are provided below. No lasers or other forms of removal is used.

Saline tattoo lightening offers a natural and effective solution. This method gently lifts unwanted pigment from the skin without the use of lasers or harsh chemicals by using Li-FT®.

Li-FT® is a non-acid, high salt–based tattoo lightening formula made with a proprietary blend of natural fruit seed extracts and ultra-refined salts. The salt is ground into an exceptionally fine powder, allowing for smooth implantation into the skin and optimal absorption during the treatment process.

Li-FT® works to gradually lift and lighten pigment, while maintaining the health and integrity of the skin. Unlike laser removal, saline lightening can target all pigment colors, including those that lasers may struggle to treat.

The solution works by helping lift pigment out of the skin through a natural process called osmosis. The saline solution has a higher salt concentration than the fluid in your skin. Imagine sprinkling salt on a freshly cut cucumber. The salt pulls moisture to the surface because the fluid inside the cucumber has a lower salt concentration. A similar effect happens in the skin during treatment.

The saline creates a gentle pull that draws fluid, and the pigment within it, toward the surface of the skin. As the area heals, the pigment moves upward and becomes trapped in the tiny flakes or light scab that forms.

During the healing process the scab will fall away on its own, revealing a lighter tattoo beneath.

Osmosis continues long after the appointment is finished. It is important to follow aftercare and not to pick, scratch, forcefully remove the scab or disrupt the skin. Doing so will interfere with both the effectiveness of the treatment and the skin’s natural healing process.

Any form of tattoo removal is a process. There are different factors that contribute to how many sessions are needed, therefore it's challenging to give an exact number. Each session gradually lightens pigment, with visible results in 2–5 sessions depending on depth, saturation, and pigment type.

The rate at which pigment lifts from the skin is influenced by several important factors, including:

• The level of pigment saturation
• How deeply the pigment is implanted in the skin
• Individual skin sensitivity and tolerance
• How well the skin heals between sessions
• Consistency with proper aftercare
   

Depending on your goals, complete pigment removal may not always be necessary. In many cases, lightening the existing pigment enough to allow for a new procedure is all that is needed.

After the first session the brows might appear darker than before. This means the pigment is successfully being pulled from the deeper layers of the skin towards the surface. Following through with a second removal will then start to lighten the brows until the desired result is achieved.

The session from start to finish takes about 1 hour. Aftercare is provided.
