EYEBROWS

Machine Hair Strokes

This technique uses a tattoo machine and a fine needle to create pixels that build each individual hair stroke, creating a full airy brow. This also allows to develop hyperrealistic hair strokes with textures, stroke spacing, density, and saturation.

Machine hair strokes is for all skin types and ages. Oily skin types can fade the pigment faster and might need more frequent touchups.

Machine hair strokes can be buildable and might require a touch up to add additional strokes or reinforce the hair strokes if needed.

Pricing: $500, with 1 touch up at 6-8 weeks included

Additional touch ups: $100

Microfeathering

Also known as nano-blading, this technique involves manually creating strokes with a fine blade to mimic natural hair with less passes. This approach minimizes trauma to the skin and is designed to fade softly over time.

Lasts an average 12-18 months with mineral pigment. Clients who prefer slightly more staying power hybrid pigments are available- lasts about 3 years. Longevity depends on skin type, aftercare, lifestyle, age, medications.

Pricing: $500, with 1 touch up at 8-12 weeks included

Combo Brows

Color Boost

For MOR | Brows Studio Clients Only

EXPECTATIONS

Permanent makeup is a 2-step process and is 50% complete after the first session. Only after the touch up appointment is the process complete. There are cases where a touch up might not be needed or can be prolonged to a later date. We will come up with a plan during your touch up appointment.

Touch ups: Touch ups are scheduled 8-10 weeks after the initial appointment and are

required to reinforce the brow's shape and color as it is normal to experience some patchiness, fading, missing strokes, etc., during the healing process.

Healing: Initial healing takes 2 weeks, after 4 weeks the color has settled in the skin revealing its true tone, and at 8-10 weeks you will return for your touch up appointment. Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during this time and feelings of uncertainty might surface. Just believe and trust the process!

First 2 weeks- The skin is open and PMU is fresh. It's crucial to follow aftercare instructions.

  • Avoid exposure to water and anything that causes your pores to open- swimming, hot tub, sauna, hot bath/showers, steam rooms, hot yoga, exercising/training, anything that makes you sweat- it will fade your fresh permanent makeup.
  • Avoid sun exposure- wear a hat to protect from UV rays.
  • No swimming- chlorine and salt water fade permanent makeup, especially when fresh.
  • Mild flecks/scabs can also appear that will fall off on their own- absolutely no picking!
  • No makeup or sunscreen on the brows until after the 2 week mark.
  • Avoid touching, picking, applying products on the brows to avoid infection and undesirable results.
  • Only use the balm provided in the aftercare kit during this phase.
  • Do your best to sleep on your back

Week 2-3- The epidermis has closed and most permanent makeup appears to look much lighter as it's been "encapsulated" with new skin. Please continue to wear a hat, and at this stage it's safe to apply a little amount of makeup and sunscreen on the brow area.

Week 4- Your PMU has gone through several stages of healing and by the end of week 4 the pigment has settled and neutralized to its natural color. Due to natural skin regeneration clients may lose hair strokes or the brows might look patchy, which might make the brows look uneven or too light. All skin types handle pigment differently and concerns will be addressed at the touch up.

Please keep in mind...

Your eyebrows will look 40% darker and up to 15% thicker during the first 5 days.

As the brows heal the color will lighten 30-40% to a neutral tone and will shrink in size 1-2mm. Brows will look slightly smaller around the touch up appointment due to shrinkage.

The artist has no control over what occurs during the healing process therefore it's the client's responsibility to read the aftercare and follow instructions diligently to obtain the best outcome.

Permanent Makeup Emotions:

Day 1: OMG! I love my new brows!

Day 2-4: OH NO! They're so dark and thick! *tear*

Day 5-7: My brows are falling off!

Day 8-10: Um... my brows are gone...?

Day 11-34: My brows are coming back! But they look. a little patchy and uneven.

After second session: YAY! I love my new brows even more now!

Appointment Expectations:

  • On the day of the appointment we will collaborate to create the perfect set of brows, discussing goals, shape, color, and style.
  • I will map your brows according to your facial features. This process will require sitting up and laying down and takes the most amount of time to ensure symmetry. I will answer any questions you have during the process.
  • Once you approve of the shape and thickness we will proceed with a color match.
  • Total appointment time: Between 3- 3.5 hours. Time includes mapping, collaboration, tattooing. For machine hair strokes please plan for 5 hours.
  • Towards the end of the appointment we will go over after care, you'll receive after care instructions and an aftercare kit, 8-10 week follow up will be scheduled.
  • Slight soreness, tightness, itching, or stinging for the first few days is normal.

Please read through and follow all after care instructions to ensure the best result. Not following after care can result in undesired results like discoloration, pigment loss/poor retention, scabbing, and abnormal healing. Improper care increases risk of infections during the first 14 days. Please do not hesitate to reach out for assistance.
